The beautiful Shyla presented to see Dr Tanya after a gruelling 14 hours of labour.
She had passed 6 puppies naturally but had ran out of steam.
She went to an emergency caesarean surgery and to everyone’s surprise
another 9 puppies were delivered – making her litter the largest recorded for her breed in Australia!
The nursing team did an incredible job caring for the newborns with one puppy needing extra care from Nurse Jess to revive her.
We are pleased to hear Shyla is an amazing mum.
Congratulations to Shyla and her human parents!!
