Small Animal Practice – Vet Nurse – Casual/ Part Time
(1-2 regular shifts a week, on-going, with the potential for more if that suits)

The Position:

Ideally, we would like an experienced vet nurse however this position will also suit a motivated recent graduate who wants to be exposed to an interesting and varied caseload. Most of the cases are companion animals, however, the practice also sees pocket pets, wildlife and the occasional avian case.

We close at 2pm on Saturdays and are closed Sundays and Public Holidays. There are no on-call duties.

  • MACH Theatre, Procedure and examination lights
  • iM3 Elite Dental station and Dental Xray
  • Surgivet, plus mobile Multi-parameter anaesthetic monitoring

Team members are chosen for their technical skills, knowledge, enthusiasm, care and also personality to join in a friendly and professional work environment. Vets nurses are encouraged to engage in continuing education.
