We are frequently asked by school students and parents to accept work experience students.
Our clinic is fully supportive but we are a small business and cannot accept all requests. Students must be in Year 11 or above and demonstrate a mature attitude for us to accept the placement.
Places are accepted through a program using the INSTEP model or similar. If you wish to apply, please do so through your school program coordinator who should arrange for you to come in for a preliminary interview.
Working in a veterinary clinic can be very interesting at times, but be aware that many tasks are not at all glamorous! Also note that we do expect students on a work experience placement to work - not just watch.
