Zeus is a very sweet 9 year old Rottweiler. He presented to us with a large mass in his right stifle (knee) that was causing him pain and discomfort.
He was diagnosed with a bone cancer, (called an osteosarcoma)
Dr Jaime performed surgery on Zeus and his right hindlimb was amputated to remove the cancer.
Zeus underwent an amputation of his right hind-limb to remove the cancer.
He was extremely brave throughout the whole process and was even up and walking within a few hours of surgery!
He has not been held back at all by having 3 legs and is enjoying the previous full life he had with his loving family.
