About Us

We at the Mt Helena Veterinary Clinic aim to provide the best local health care to family pets of the Eastern Hills of Perth.

We are pet lovers ourselves and we love to take care of your pets. Our base is the beautiful and historic premises in Mt Helena - the former Greenmount Roads Board building that was the original office of the Mundaring Shire Council (1906). Our practice is a registered veterinary hospital.

Our veterinarians are very experienced and our nurses are all Certificate IV trained. We make every effort to keep up to date and to be early adopters of relevant advances in small animal medicine and surgery. For example:
  • 2005 we were the first practice in Perth to adopt the three year vaccine for dogs
  • 2006 we were in the first group of practices (including Murdoch University) to adopt the Surgivet anaesthetic monitor as standard practice for general anaesthesia
  • 2011 we are among the first practices in Perth to offer stem cell therapy to dogs and cats with osteoarthritis

We treat every pet with respect and many patients are keen to come in the door.
